The Influence of Visual Identity on Art
I don't do any sketching beforehand. I let those things determine what actually ends up being made as much as like, you know, what the painting is capable of doing. It's all started on the surface and then it's drawn out on the surface. And so I just want to. I know that some ideas get in through as like stowaway ideas. They like have another idea that I think this, this, this might work, but then it's actually the thing behind it or the way it's painted or that makes me abandon everything else and just go with the thing that it actually is working.
