It has a kind of a cascading effect where you get a crunch. The problem is that now it's very, very hard to do that because of all the inflationary pressures. If they go back to ce now, with inflation being very high, it's probably going to push inflation even higher and have the potential to push inflation higher. Whether it would or not, i don't know, but its just not as easy for them to do it now as did two years ago.
