I don't think we could have competed with them really. We used Motown as an instructive element because they were so great and so knowledgeable. I gave it a little Motown feel like that. you mentioned Carl Otomas Baby, which was a song she didn't like and then you finally made it work. What did you do? I changed the bass line and I changed the tempo and the melody. Did you change any of the chords underneath? No, no. It's the same chords they wrote. Yeah. It's just the way it feels.
