i wish i'd spent more time investing in alizing the four peas, as i call them, which are john's four ways of knowing. Participatory perspective is about being able to generate a new perspective on the situation. Propositional cues interfere with people's attempts at these more procedure and prospectivl transformations. And so what this means is there are ways in which you are shaped by your biology and your culture and your history. They alterthe shaping things like niche construction that make action possible. You can see participatory knowing in even broader terms such as how animals shape their environment.
