Sigmund Freud and the History of Literature
Leonard: Sigmund freud, for all his faults and flaws, did plenty of that. He gave us books and ideas we are still absorbing. He enlarged our circumference. We don't need to take sides in the freudian disputes to see the value in that. Enlarge the circumference, give the brain a wider scope, make it objective get outside and to defeat the age of age. All these are worthy projects. Always take on new things.
