CHAPTER

The Threefold Twofold Part of the Law

The distinction between moral law and positive law or let me be clear here. In this portion of the pod, when we say moral law, that should be understood to be synonymous with natural law. Eating the fruit of a tree is not inherently sin. But when God says, don't eat the fruit of that tree, it becomes sin. Not inherently moral or immoral to cut the foreskin off of your eight-day-old boy. It makes it an issue of faithfulness. And we can go on and give a number of other examples. I trust those people. That's a deep, deep. So that's a positive law. Right.
