Futurism and the Internet
It has such an interesting legacy for such a short lived thing just because it was like sort of this wild west era of the internet where nobody knew what it was and no one really was aware of its full potential. Who could have imagined in you know when we're downloading Napster Kazah or whatever we're using who could have imagined that this system would at some point in our lives never turn off? I feel like this is what futurism is about partly is this dream of the perfect ability of humankind which is always going to be elusive and disappointing.
