I was brought up in a home where books were considered to be important. And so I think I just always wanted to write stories. At the time you were working as a banker, that's a bit different from writing. You weren't just a banker giving people money in a branch. No, no, I was a foreign exchange trader and then a government bond trader. But it wasn't ever my heart's desire to say I am a banker.
