How Do You Make Your Sound Effects Work for You?

Tim: I like to create a master folder for each day of recording and then build sub folders if I'm doing multiple different kinds of things. Paul does something similar, but also break the type of sound effects into different categories as well because he finds it's really important to maintain the mentality during the session. Dustin likes to go through them right away, take out the slates, do a quick trim, but make sure that the stuff that I recorded on the day that maybe didn't make it into an original slate or a tail slate that I dropped those into markers.
