The Importance of Queer Practice in Early Childhood Education

Sally Kohn: Queer practice specifically goes after children because they are so impressionable and because this is so important. The most vulnerable people, it treats them with such unfairness, such cruelty, and you get them worked up to where they can't live in a world that doesn't have justice or peace. Their goal is explicitly to overcome the barrier of what they call the narrative of childhood innocence. They say that childhood innocence is in fact a ideological narrative created by the people who consider themselves normal.
