The study that i'm referring to is entitled romantic love, an f mri. It's a functional magnetic resonance imaging study of a neural mechanism for mate choice. And this study as well as several other studies using magnetic residence imaging have fied a large number of brain areas associated with different aspects of desire, love and attachment. So not surprisingly, the dopomin system in the n is associated with desire,. although to some extent love. The neural circuits for quiescence and relaxation are most associated with love and attachment, not surprisingly.
