Jeffrey McDonald told police he was attacked by three hippie intruders who stabbed his wife and two daughters. He says he found Collette with a knife lodged in her chest, tried to resuscitate her before realizing she had died. Nancy Grace: The fact that the stab wound was only about half an inch deep means whoever was stabbing him definitely was not using much force or did not intend to hurt him seriously. She says CPR would have been necessary if there were severe puncture wounds; nurses don't take foreign objects out of people's bodies.
