The Fooseness of Deficit Day

This is more of that meta foolishness that we like to talk about from time to time. It's yearly as the story goes, although you can see where maybe someday soon it's going to be twice in the same year. You and I have been writing a newspaper article about this thing we call deficit day for, I believe, ten years. Every year we write essentially the same exact article we wrote the year before. We just changed the numbers. So let's tell people who haven't seen the last ten of these what deficit day even is!
