Is the Greek Media Sector Ready for the Spying Crisis?

Despite whatever problems there may be, I think that the fact that the issue was uncovered is a victory for journalism in Greece. The broader issue is that having gone through the previous economic crisis, we would see sort of better quality, fairer, more balanced type of media in Greece. That hasn't really emerged beyond a few sort of small, independent media outlets. There is a sense at the moment that a lot of the mainstream media is heavily pro-government and intentionally obscuring or ignoring stories.
