Those Paradoxical Elements, You Know, You've Been Put in There for Years

i didn't write a lot about my muslem identity and kept that very personal an because i i didn't want to be forced into that, into being some spokes person or poster boy. But as the years have gone on, and i think i've settled into am, you know, being comfortable with those paradoxical elements, im also comfortable kind of talking about them. And i discuss them a lot more in this new book. It's quite weird for me to have os, to have that identity, and then to cross the border into the homeland, and suddenly it's flipped, you know it i mean. I would say that we live in a country where islam is demonized
