We're always escaping into other realities. We all live in fantasies when something is maybe hurtful or I'm uncomfortable or I don't necessarily love who I am in reality sometimes it's hard to face. Jock fluth is proposing that you know reality is our friend where we want to be where God works and that's where wewant to accept ourselves and our sinfulness okay so I struggle with this sin but in the moment I can allow God and come and speak truth and life into that struggle rather than just getting distracted by my own suffering or my own sin whatever.
