The Importance of a Code of Conduct
Aristotelian Aristotle's concept of sort of the doctrine of the mean. That you're really looking for somewhere in the middle of the two extremes. This actually strikes me as a really good example of finding that middle road because quite honestly, enforcing of things like a code of conduct can in and of itself become toxic. It can become totally weaponized. And I have seen that happen in communities. The code of conduct is also not toothless. But essentially, my view is that they can get coercive. You're trying to tell somebody else, I'm donating something on my behalf and I put this out there and you have to do the same. We really are trying to convince
