Using Aluminum Conductor Steel for Transmission Lines?

When you're looking at these transmission lines, mostly what you're looking to is aluminum. It's a whole lot of aluminum. Copper is the most conductive of the metals. Aluminum is less conductive than copper, but it's a lot lighter and it's a much cheaper. And so sort of quickly that math worked out, that sort of economics worked out,that it makes far more sense to be making these lines out of aluminum.
