The Fed's Forecasting Track Record on Rate Hikes
The Federal Reserve has probably the worst Forecasting track record ever Dave Rosenberg had that that recently. He analyzed Everything back to 2012 it was a total of 110 data points and he said for the Fed funds rate The Fed forecasts had an accuracy of 37% So that's not a lot for core inflation 29% for real GDP growth 17%. I think this is already telling you quite a lot the fact that the market only seems to care when does tapering start will be two or three rate hike cycles rate hikes next year.
