Socially constructed races entered the world for the first time for the purpose of conquest and slavery. Social constructions associated with extremely low resolution categories were soon attached into racism as we understand it today. Race became an oppressor versus oppressed narrative this made a lot of sense at the time talking 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s even 1960s. Tolerance has to be rethought tolerance of fascist ideas as they grow is what allows people to support fascist ideas and ultimately vote.
