I honestly think 20 years from now people will still be playing Stardew Valley. No question in my mind. This game to me just feels as fresh today as it did when it came out which is a miracle. Terraria for what it's worth is another example I don't think it's on this list but another great example of a game that has followed this model and been massively successful because of it. The Oman Sky is the other one about that's kind of on that tier but it had to keep updating kind of out of necessity because it just didn't launch.
