Staff Meetings and Elders Retreats

Staff meetings are a great, great way to do this. And elders meetings as well. I would encourage all of my staff members to go to at least two meetings a year somewhere and get their wells filled up. There's something that's a rick and I share them together. It's called a day away. But we take one day a month and go away to a monastery. We just have the whole day in prayer, journaling, fasting,. solitude, quiet, speaking to the Lord. They're just building into their lives, giving them the opportunity to grow. You can't lead people to powerful spiritual living if I am not living powerfully spiritually myself.
