The Problem Is Not Circularity, but the Dogmatism
tonan planiga: If you assume the reliability of one's cognitive faculties, it seems then you're committed to the idea that wholly improbable evolutionary mechanisms selected for reliable cognitive faculties. And that strikes me as a, missing the point. So again, the problem is not circularity, although bergman does a good job, andi agree with him that not all circular arguments are bad. That's not the problem. The problem is a the dogmatism of the other response, right? Good. Um. But intuitively, it seems like these responses to planiga's argument are intuitively percise. It my perception, my perceptual abilities do seem to to have to be intact
