The Free Will Defense and the Importance of Moral Good
Alvin Planting's free will defense has persuaded many that God can create creatures capable of moral evil. Paul Draper notes some serious attempts have been given to show evil is logically compatible with God's existence. But this argument ignores another important attribute of God, his omniscience - he might in his perfect knowledge have very good reasons for allowing evil we cannot see.
