Black Panther Party - I'm a Leader, They Want You to Us
Fred Hampton was a leader of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party based in Chicago. He orchestrated the first Rainbow Coalition, bringing together different gangs to fight police brutality. The FBI caused rifts between Black Panther Party leaders and jailed members at all levels. J. Edgar Hoover feared that unlike his Oakland colleagues, he was working out of a major U.S. city with a very large Black population.
