Is There a Time to Reassess the Titler Cycle?

There's a vice article titled, m i t predicted in 19 72 that society will collapse this century. The interesting thing o is that we're talking about the decline of any human civilization. It's very rare for that decline to be somethingthat we would consider rapid on an individual level. You know, e worlds tend to go out with not a bang, but with a whimper. But also, i think it's a good time to reassess the titler cycle. Because what's changed, what the original authors purported or real didn't predict, was global communication systems and how those would affect the cycle.
