The Rise of AI Language Models

I feel like we were already headed in that direction before everyone's embraced generative AI. And to me, the difference and I think the part we still have not figured out is the scale of it all. Like a person can only build a website with so many words at such a speed. Whereas basically with enough compute and energy and interest, I could make a thing the size of the internet without trying very hard. It was just like, it took something that was already crumbling and just already a little smoldering and doused it with gasoline.
