i was determined to look smoking hot when that day came. My three daily meals consisted solely of chicken brockley and sweet potatoes. And wouldn't you know it, i was no happier than i'd been before. I wasn't filled with more joy. The point is that i had to get the body i thought i'd always wanted. To have love or our worth based on how our bodies look is something we don't deserve. No exercise or diet programme can give you a lasting sense of worth and acceptance. It means working every single day to reject the negative messages constantly hurled our way by advertising and social media. We need to actively reject the falsehoods inherent in diet an fitness culture
