I think it, of course, has to do with the ageism aspect, the sexism and misogyny. But I still feel like there's something about it beyond that. When I was in that position, I just felt powerless to do anything about it in my own newsroom without risking losing my job. And you experienced this stuff? Absolutely. Racism, sexism, bullying. These are widespread issues in Bell Media Newsrooms. It's what led me to leave the industry.
