The US Assault on a Village in Cambodia
CNN's John Defterios has been covering the Vietnam War for more than a decade. In one of his interviews, he talks about an incident in which U.S. troops shot up a village and looted it. But they didn't evacuate or treat any civilians, including a young girl who had been struck with machine gun fire. They left her there to die "for the sake of a looted motorcycle," says Defterios.
