The Gift of Carol King
Carol King and I met through Danny Korschmore. He was working with her on the West Coast when I came back from England. We played this job at the Troubadour together in Los Angeles. She started by opening the show and then she would play a little bit in my set. She was performing You Got a Friend in that gig and I was recording my second record so she offered me the song. It worked well for me.
