The Relationship Between Resistance and Strength in Active Stretching
So relative longer muscle length for the biceps, but the resistance is basically dropping off as we're going through that eccentric. So to me, I'm looking at, okay, here we have a ascending resistance into the eccentric outperforming a longer relative muscle length. And same thing in the triceps study, when we're looking at that, the partial was actually performed so that during the eccentric, the resistance is actually increasing. The lift was getting harder. During the full range of motion, one essentially had the same scenario as the incline curl where the bottom half of the motion, essentially the weight was getting lighter.
