Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
Recursion by Blake Crouch is a master of the sci-fi thriller and I loved this book. Dark Matter was also really good. There's not a lot of middle ground around Mexican Gothic. But if you love it, it's also being made into a series. We'll see if that sticks because of the writer strike. The first oh we were in a pandemic. That's all I remember. Now 2021 was a different story. I have seven books from that summer that are still some of my favorite books. Not just summer rates like favorite across the board. So great."
