The Importance of Gatekeeper on iPadOS

I would love to have gatekeeper a gatekeeper based system on iPadOS just let me go out there and download my iPad could be just as a pro machine as a Macbook Pro. I haven't seen a single driver kit and a bowl app on my radar for the past year at all so I don't know what this is. If I were apple I would say okay maybe we should evangelize this technology going out there talk to these folks who make audio peripherals and talk to them about why they're not using driver kit.
