There is no regulatory definition for clean. It's whatever company defines clean to be for them, that's clean. The perception that somehow cosmetics are not regulated or under regulated by the FDA is wrong on so many different levels,. Simone: In a lot of ways, the cosmetic industry has done a good job marketing to consumers but they haven't done a great job educating them as far as science goes.
