There's a lot of overlap between the two. We have professional demands challenging workplaces exposure to trauma experienced by our clients. And we need to be able to use self care in that professional capacity as well as our personal capacity. The other thing that it actually adds is social work organizations, agencies and educational institutions are encouraged to promote organizational policies, practice and materials to support social workers self care.
