Innovating Faith Communities

This chapter recounts the speaker's journey in creating a unique faith community while in seminary, originally sparked by a Bible study project. It explores the establishment of 'Holy Smoke Cigars and Spirituality,' which aimed to attract those disillusioned with traditional church experiences, and discusses the challenges of fostering inclusive space for deep conversations. Additionally, it reflects on the journey of reconciling personal theology with evolving spirituality while addressing cultural narratives within faith traditions.
