I think I had some unique opportunities that really in some ways were a little bit more of an exception to the rule. Our mission president was very patriarchal, very hard-nosed. And so while on the one hand, I definitely did not benefit from the patriarchy that was endemic to all missions. On the other hand, I was just arrogant enough to think that I was just every bit as good as any of those boys. Am I right? You were. We were we were both arrogant. And we both had a lot to learn.
