In a recent essay to trevan generation, elizabeth alexander paints a picture of the oupeople grown up in the past 25 years. We are a generation that has known that hastaks for us are also history books chronicling a journey of young peoplew just like just like us. Their journeys have ended too early. These stories let us know that, as alexander writes, anti black hatred and violence, weule never fall. My class room, like my grandmother's kitchen had o, a sanctuary of survival.
