How to Write a Cough in IPA?

The classic IPA is devised for linguists to talk about sounds in the regular speech repertoire of spoken languages. The extended IPA is generally used by speech pathologists to transcribe other sounds that people sometimes make when they're learning to or producing speech differently from how the typical user of their language does it. There's also some sounds in X IPA that are I think very difficult to pronounce unless you have a cleft palate, so that's where I would look if I was looking for coughing because it seems like that kind of thing they might have done.
