A player's salary would be fixed to a percentage of the cap rather than being a certain dollar amount. "I think the players would struggle to understand it, but conceptually, we were told there's no math," he says. But at the end of the day, the whole escrow system is designed because players are fixed to a Percentage of revenue that their number represents based on what they take up against one team's cap.
