Getting Your Hands Dirty

The researchers used a variety of different data sets to get their results. They found that most recently published, very well known models featured the same data sets. This is because some researchers will shorten the data sets and others make them longer by adding variables or not even being explicit about what they turn into it. The study was published in the open-source journal Cascades.
