Are We So Far Away From Human Intelligence?
We consider it quite an achievement if we manage to have a single nerrl network that can solve multiple types of image recognition problems or play multiple differet atari games. They are all very specific. We're not going to get to human level intelligence in my lifetime or my son's lifetime. I really don't when you hand, i the benefit of being able to solve things like climate change and diseases. And i think that that promise outweighs the risk ofu existential risk.
