The world is so complex the AGI could do some Lex Luthor-like move where it knocks over one stop sign and crashes the whole economy. Can this unpredictability lead to cascades that are essentially like butterfly effects? Are there ways of predicting or controlling these events? I haven't seen a concrete proof of uncontrollability and control theory, he says.
