The Shadows of a Sailing Girl
She is fascinated with fairy stories and the arcane. Believes they carry important messages. While most of the stories existed in fanciful settings, she recognized at an early age the most realistic part of fairy tales was the violence. She finds more depth and character in the sirens panion octobus who expresses a degree of sempathy and compassion for the randy sailors. The shadow had journeyed through oceans of time, searched until it saw her through the latticed windows of her bedroom. Somewhere warm, somewhere safe, it couldn't resist.
