Are We Turning Over Our Soil?

Turning over our soil could actually be degrading our soil. Carbon that's stored within our soils is exposed to the oxygen and drifts up into the atmosphere as carbon dioxide. We've got to be really careful that we don't overwork the land. And if it's possible to leave your soil alone, then leave it alone.
