What Is Substantial Similarity to Copyright Copyright Infringement?

Artificial intelligence can be used to create works of art that infringe on others' copyright. In the case of Mickey Mouse, for example, if you ask an AI to produce a mouse wearing red shorts doing something, it's going to do so. Would intention also come into play in this case? There are a couple things that play one is that copyright is a strict liability offense. So copyright doesn't look to whether you intended to infringe or not. It looks to whether you did infringement.
