There's an really amazing author called a caroll j adams that talks about, meat is the absent referrent for the animal in feminist theory. Like, they're not thinking about the labor that went into this at all. What did that look like? Am, who's making this food? Are they getting paid, or how are they being treated? It just kind of bothers me, definitely.
