The Importance of Consent in a Western Society
I wouldn't describe my experiences, rape at all. I think the process of preparing two people of the same age to have an intimate life together in a culture that expects them to be intimate after marriage is not surprising. The whole idea of extensive consent and all of that is a very Western concept. If you arrange a marriage and there's going to be intimacy, right? You'd like to hope so.
