The Impact of Tourism on Amsterdam

Amsterdam has been dealing with the impact of tourism and like a number of cities in Europe, it's just getting out of hand. I remember before the pandemic, the big discussion in Amsterdam was, are the local people going to get angry with the tourists for messing up their neighborhoods? The Ratlide District area is so crowded on certain evenings that police cannot guarantee safety anymore. So quite a lot of things have changed there.
